How to remove birds ?

Hi Ehsdpsrla,

For a long time i've been trying to remove these....annoying and numerous birds. They more often appear in default english route (ie Newcastle to York). At the beginning, i thought (naively) i have to do the same way used for Railsimulator : erase one particular but easy to find file in railworks structure. The answer is : bad way, the birds are well hidden in railworks. I tried and i tried for one year, but no results.

So, as i know your skill and knowledges with Railworks 3, could you help me, if you have enough time ?

I've heard that's common thing there are crows here to there in English!


Try to rename these files
Kuju\RailSimulator\scenery\Wildlife\bird_group_circle1.GeoPcDx
Kuju\RailSimulator\scenery\Wildlife\bird_group_line1.GeoPcDx

I have not tried,,, so I am not sure!

EDIT 1 : Little gain in FPS (within 5 to 20) noticed for "Newcastle - York" at this time, don't see if others routes are affected too. I will see that in the next hours and days.
EDIT 2 : second effect (always for Newcastle, not "tested" yet on other routes) : Less lags !!
EDIT 3 : as for Rail Simulator, birds are FPS killer...

EDIT 4 : FINAL REPORT : obviously, gain in FPS only for routes in which the author put a LARGE number of birds. No gain for others routes...
